Remixes aren’t money-making entities. And yes we all know about Duke Dumont’s notorious opinions on sharing music.

When I started this blog, I never intended to post commercially successful original material. I admittedly – and regrettably – posted DVNO as a shameless attempt to gain more web hits (Justice are, after all, the most searched on hypem – so i knew i’d get ALOT of hits). Though i now have regular readers so don’t need to. I’m now sent quite alot of tracks (tho only a few are any gd at the mo) and often email people before posting (e.g. I emailed Pirate Soundsystem asking if i could post the Wiley remix which they said i couldn’t, but they’re happy with any other tracks).

And NO, you are on another planet if you think DJ’s pay for all their music. (Oh and EVERYONE here are huge music fans and therefore buy the CD’s they NEED in their collection.)

But thankyou the-other-anonymous (the nice one) for ur kind words bout my taste and writing.

Now, lets steer the conversation back to opinions of the mix…

Blogs ain’t going anywhere. At least Pelski writes nicely, has good taste and is informative.

If you are sooooo worried about lining the pockets of recording companies then go shopping and leave us to discuss and share music amongst ourselves.

Justice et al aren’t going to be poor just coz Pelski listed DVNO for a few weeks now are they.

It’s not about principals. It’s about sharing. Music came first, then the business. The Internet is changing things for the industry and allowing us greater access. Music is not dying, its never been so vibrant and diverse!!

I appreciate you trying to take a different stance, but perhaps you cannot accept changes are occuring.

Why do you think that Radiohead just gave away their latest album? Not because they don’t want money. They’re changing and adapting.

Perhaps its time you did to. Otherwise, please just walk way…

I know some people reading this have some sense and know I’m right.

(Apart from producers who send out their tunes) you shouldn’t be playing that shit unless you’ve paid for it. It ain’t rocket science.

If you can’t afford music get a new hobby? Or just limit your selection. I swear some of you lot are on another planet.

Getting the righteous bullshit from these kids just grates lol.
