Everyone’s music taste/beliefs and backgrounds are all different.

People shouldn’t complain about negativity in blog posts as the poster is just expressing his personal view on the subject.

I can’t believe that people can’t decide whether they like a track or not for themselves no matter what the writer has said. Silly.

If you want to read blogs that only churn out popular opinions then we may as well end it now. It’s all subjective and we keep coming back to Pelski and co because we generally agree, and if not, at least it stirs conversation. Like an educated, decent chat down the boozer right?

Pelski is willing to stick his neck out and slate a popular, massive label and for that alone I salute his bravery.

I understand we perhaps forget what Ed Banger have produced for us over recent years, and Justice did explain the slip with the cables on that set, suggesting it was an innocent accident and all.

Pelski – you’re a brave blogger – keep it up mate.

And as for their productions, I guess it’s just personal preference – yeah I know some who love ‘Dog’ and ‘Motor’. (I don’t). And Planishphere? Dividing it into 4 parts is a little excessive, but sounds pretty cool, though listeing to it does further my point: Justice really ought to evolve their sound a little.

For me (and many others), after placing Ed Banger on a ludicrously high pedestal, Ed Rec 3 was bound to dissapoint.

But yeah… I don’t at all mean to completely disown Ed Banger – they helped kickstart something huge. And SebastiAn’s latest remixes still bang.

the blogs need to exercise more quality control imo. less tracks, more exclusivity. proper!

It’s just I’ve noticed this massive shift to Ed Banger hating lately everywhere and it only seems to be hipster backlash against their popularity and ubiquitousness rather than any actual drop in quality – Vol. 3 gave us the Auto Remix, Dog, Decalcomania, Pocket Piano – no less memorable tracks to me than what appeared on any previous version.
I admit they seem to be digging their niche lately rather than constantly revolunationizing but after all theyve done so far for dance music and the constant criticism I read at the moment it just feels as if someone needs to cut them some slack.
