Damiano von Erckert has been getting a lot of press lately thanks to his fantastic two  LPs last year. But Tito Wun is the unsung hero of Mr. Pink, What Have You Been Smokin’? serving up the highlight with the elated funk of ‘The Way U Do It’.

The seasoned German hip hop and edits specialist lays down a typically sunny selection of soul, gleeful boom bap and funk for Boiler Room.

Trushmix present the first three hours of DJ Sotofett spinning live at The Panther Room in Brooklyn, New York NYC,  last month. Amidst all the peaks and troughs, there’s plenty of obscure disco gems, a few familiar NYC garage classics, plus a wealth of unreleased Sex Tags material.

Stateside radio DJ Tim Sweeney mixes 50 of his favourite tunes from 2013. The Beats In Space host spins an ecelectic selection, encompassing everything from Axel Boman to Midland to Erol Alkan. Get stuck in – you’re sure to find some gems you missed the first time around.

Mix Of The Week goes to one of our favourite production and DJ duos, 6th Borough Project. It’s a two hour back-to-back session between The Revenge and Craig Smith, spinning an assortment of low-slung funk, smoky house grooves and upbeat disco.

The mix also arrives with some exciting news from the Glaswegian duo: their second album Borough 2 Borough will be released on March 3rd via Delusions Of Grandeur. For anyone familiar with their first album One Night In The Borough, this promises to be something special.

Mix Of The Week goes to Maxmillion Dunbar, one half of Beautiful Swimmers. Available for download via Bandcamp, the mixtape is chockablock with his own brittle and textured house productions, featuring three unreleased tracks, a Ttam Renat remix of album track ‘Loving The Drift’ and a recording of a live performance of ‘Kangaroo’ alongside Protect-U and Peaking Lights member Aaron Coyes.

Our Mix Of The Week goes to Swedish label Studio Barnhus whose three hour set at Space, Ibiza, earlier this summer is chocka block with banging, brittle electronic textures – be it the Detroit snares of Paranoid London, the groove-laden disco of Nebraska or classic vocal house from Cajmere. Best of all, the mix comes with a full playlist.

Moomin’s production alias only surfaced three years ago, but he’d been creating his own mixes using an old school tape deck since the early 1990s, before turning his hand to turntables. Moomin’s debut album The Story About You landed on Smallville Records in November 2011 and was a masterclass in raw, muddied house.

His mix for the ever-excellent Little White Earbuds site is a typically soulful selection, drawing on all sort of bumpy deep house.
