Bicep (of Feel My Bicep blog fame) have been turning heads with their slow-burning disco bombs on Throne of Blood and Mystery Meat. More recently they’ve been caught remixing the likes of Toby Tobias and Medlar.
Now he’s chucking out an edit of disco diva Evelyn Champagne King’s ‘Love Come Down’. It’s a simple edit – purportedly banged out in three hours – and to be honest the 80s original already has enough dancefloor clout of its own. But Bicep beefs up those rolling snares, letting them tumble over a hefty, gulping weight of bass:
