Tick Tock

I’m all for creating an atmosphere of sustained suspense, which is exactly why I’ll never shake that sense of anticipation on the dance-floor. Great DJ’s hover between the fine line of tension and timing, as one song sequentially drops upon another, to be complimented perfectly by the next. Yet we can always rely on the New Year chime to kindly remind the clockroaches, that there’s one never but ever changing drop, which will always be delivered when the clock strikes 12:00. So as years tick by, one could say our planet has been well exposed to a rather marathon after hours set on a universal level, with many a club resident changing the tunes on the worldwide 1’s and 2’s, sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse. However, it’s nice to know that one policy in our global club has never changed…

There’s just always time for one more tune.

While on the topic of timing, I must admit that it’s taken us a rather long while to gift wrap a festive pack of mpfree’s to compliment your holiday period. For this reason alone, I have manifested a relentless string of intimidatingly nice sorry songs. My hope being that this assortment will crush any depressing milieu of hopelessness, that one can often feel on the outbreak of a new year; and for those carbon based errors that we refer to as ‘optimists’, well you can just take my frown, and spread it all around.

Consider this the precursor to the yearly run down, where we will be unleashing an exhaustive amount of unnecessary lists regarding what went down in 2010. Expect the usual self deprecating blogger based rant, alongside some straight chat about your impending playlist to be.

Here’s some stuff I didn’t get time to post in 2010.
