Moscow Records boss Archie Hamilton kindly passed on this free bootleg (in case you missed the last one, featured on Darkly’s recent mixtape, grab it here).
A lo-fi analogue synth and the gentle pulse of a 303 line are both a welcome nod to the days of acid house; add some plucky guitar strings and gentle drum patterns and you’ve got a refreshingly off-kilter house take on the Candi Station cover:
Florence & The Machine – You’ve Got The Love (Alexqbit Edit) [pelski highly recommends]
Also check out Moscow’s latest release from John Monkman. The title track’s a driving tech-houser, rolling out a deep and exotic groove. The flip is on more of a jackin’ tip, but still with that deliciously deep, dubby vibe. I highly recommend you check the release on soundcloud and grab the vinyl/mp3 here.
