Palms Out Sounds recently posted two tracks by a newcomer hailing from Ontario, Sean Roman. This is deep house, with a bit of a bump: a clunky grooving beat slides along to a mutated swirl of sampled diva vocals. ‘Lick’ is more of the same – soul-flecked house, with a hint of disco:

Whilst on a deeper vibe, Pelski favourite Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts is back with a collaboration with eccentric French outfit dOP. It’s a moody, wrought track that pushes forward forcefully amidst an urgent snaps of snare and the chugging hum of bass:
