A Nordic Persuasion

Another pillaging embargo emerges from the Scandinavian quarters, but instead of the usual ransacking and destruction that our heritage adheres to, the Swedes have sailed their mobilized fleet with an on board treasury of house and techno music. ‘Sticky Stockholm’s first release was set out on PBP Records in early 2010, where an eclectic mix of avant-garde soul and classic 90′s house rhythms were brought to spoil our systems. Look out for the rest of the ‘Don’t Blame The Youth‘ family, in order to satisfy any further quenches in the realms of juked tech and world house sounds.

‘Springvale’ unveils an evil wobble that rumbles under the cheeps and squeaks of the lead synth line. Be sure the flat peaks are dipped and that the scowls are sufficiently menacing, to ensue a certified nervous frenzy on the floor.

Sticky Stockholm – Springvale

Legobeat‘s remix drops an equally eerie chorus of bell tower sounds that meander their way along a set of chopped UK Funky-esque rhythms, with a distinctive Nordic twinge.

gobeat Remix)

Bonus Beat:

Funked out deep house released in 1993 by Large Records. Definitely a good exit tune when you ditch the girl, and hit the highway.
