UK hip hop group Foreign Beggars played a storming live set at our idioteque night last year in York (the next idioteque is on 27th February and is headed by Trouble Vision and Smack & Tickle resident DJ Park Ranger (if you want any early-bird tickets buy them here)).
‘Hit That Gash’ is making a bit of a splash in the UK hip hop scene. Lyrically, it’s a little immature (or perhaps adolescent is a better word) but the rap-rhyming is certainly tasty. The lyrics don’t say much more than: I wanna hit that gash. I wanna have sex, lots of sex, even pay for sex. Yey, sex…! And iterated over and over. Chin-stroking hip-hop this isn’t. But it’s undeniably fun, and
