Danger is the elusive Lyon artist who’s stirring up fuss like Justice did this time last year. With glitchy chopped up synth noises, backed by fuzzy distortion, Danger follows in the same mould as 2007′s heavy bangers, but is a breath of fresh air in an increasingly monotomous genre.
This track sounds significant, and looks to last, especially in compariosn to a lot of mediocrity currently churned out. DatA spice it up with a simple but effective remix:
Danger – 11h30 [Pelski Highly Recommends]
All the trendy french artists seem to like to draw attention by acting strangely evasive. Take Kavinsky – we dont really know who he is – in all interviews he persists in pretending to be a zombie cartoon character. Danger, also, has taken on an alterntive identity, a cartoon of somesort or something? Oh, and all his tracks are named after numerical times or dates. Cryptic and enigmatic (tho probably just pretentious)? All we know is he’s french, signed to Electroshock, and gonna be big.
11h30 is the standout track so far (see above), but these two other offerings sound epic in proportion too, though lacking the orignality of 11h30:
