M.A.G.E

Taking the remix duties to the all rude glitter frenzied r&b pop act Tayisha Busay is no easy feat, especially once you’ve checked their addled party popper antics here. Yet Misha Mross (M.A.G.E) spins the parental advisory vocals around a whirl of dexterous synth lines and thudding hip hop levels.

Tayisha Busay – WTF You Doin In My Mouth (M.A.G.E. version)

Opening with a murky crescendo of ghostly outdoor howls, we can almost follow the woodland trail back to M.A.G.E’s childhood in Southern Vermont. This is quickly followed with a low whistle that settles on top of some pop out arpeggios, smoothly coated in a crisp electro sub bass. Sweet.

M.A.G.E – Sweetness

Our man M.A.G.E is rather good at making his melodies conjure a definitive feeling. Sweetness just so happened to be sweet on the senses. Now that I’m listening to Victory, it seems that my morning meander down to the coffee machine has turned into an all round victory march. Not sure what I’ve conquered, but I’m feeling good about it anyways.

M.A.G.E – Victory

If you’d like to check out more of M.A.G.E’s material then follow this link to his ‘Imaginary Numbers’ e.p here. Plus, look out for the ‘People & Things’ compilation which will be a Vermont based release featuring Electro Acoustic music from M.A.G.E., David Ezra Brown, Logan Keller, Judas Booth, Shammahs, Tooth Ache., The Cold Wet Love Duet, and more. This should be released in mid December.
