Here we have two very samey tunes from Andy George, but weilding such filthy basslines they deserve a post. The garage-influenced Andy George has come a long way since we last left him – now hosting a show on Radio1 with his childhood-chum Jaymo. A dream come true following their school days of mucking around, where the two youngsters recorded makeshift radio shows using two cassette players, a turntable and a Radioshack microphone.
Weird, contorted bass punctuates The Futureheads’ indie vocals and strummed riffs, snipped and slotted between gigantic slabs of wonky bass:
His remix of Rochelle sees stuttery, fidgety beats lead into a rumbling, pent-up bassline: pure bounce:
