Launching at a brand new venue, Dub Souljahs have put together a huge line-up with some of the best up-and-coming names in cutting-edge dubstep. It’s set to be a big one, with two Rooms kitted with a heavy duty Martin Audio Rig.
Silkie – (Anti – Social Entertainment, Deep Medi) – Silkie should need no introduction to those that know. For those that don’t, get ready for an education. Only 23 years old, and producing some of the most forward thinking experimental music in the world today, Silkie’s styles fuse elements of Jazz, Blues and Funk with a layered dubwise attitude.
A truly unique producer, your likely to spot a Silkie production a mile away. Here’s a couple of tracks:
J : Kenzo - (Soul Shakerz, Argon Records, Dub Police) – Dance scene veteran and prolific producer in his own right: introspective and progressive.
Culprate – (Dub Saw Recordings) Dubstep that lays between Subbass manipulations of grime and the gutsy filter-modulations of hard electro. With styles reminicant of Coki and Stenchman, there’s no surprise this man’s making waves.
Fidelity – (Big Up Magazine, CORE Magazine) – Fidelity’s slowly been gaining momentum over recent years, from a firm passion in electronica / experimental music to playing on both internet radio stations and FM Dial.
Syte - (Open Earz Recordingz)- played on Sub FM, Cyba FM, React FM and other internet stations and, alongside O-Dessa, fronts Kryptik:Elementz.
O-dessa – (Lo Dubs, Sub.fm)- O-Dessa is a 21 year old producer/DJ and one part of Kryptik : Elementz. He’s recently just had his first 12″ release “Deeper / Million Dollars” on premier Dubstep imprint “Lo Dubs” and with more releases set to drop in coming months.
Crises – (Rinse Fm) – proppelled to stardom by his regular slot on Rinse.fm, over the past few years, who hasn’t Crises played alongside?
Kosha – (Deep Medi) – a breath of fresh air, with a hint of grime. With support from Kromestar and the Deep Medi, expect an introspective ride the sonic sphere.
Vandera – (Subdepth Records, Forecast Records) – big tracks forthcoming on the likes of Sub-Depth records and Forecast Records.
