Proxy Invades America!

The emanating sound of the Iron Curtain has recently beached American soil, bringing with it a staple cargo of heavy weight Russian electro-tech that is ‘Proxy‘. He has become notorious for his industrialised missile assault sets, and is set to leave a trail of Soviet red craters emblazoned across North America. Here’s what Proxy had to say when asked about playing a string of headlining American venues:

“New York. Atlanta. Boston. Coachella. These are the places and alternative music festivals I was taught to hate as a child. It is difficult to see them as anything other than targets, and I will treat them as such. New York. Rubble. Atlanta. Ruins. Boston. Ash. Coachella. Extinction.”

I eat a cigarette. I prepare to wrestle your winds of freedom to the ground. I cannot allow you to live inside your skulls for much longer.”

Thomas Von Party has sent us through an exclusive remix of Proxy’s ’8000′, by the equally aggressive electro-tech flat-liner John Roman. It’s been transformed into a glitched house rework that uses the eastern oriental sample in a wholly new light.

The Proxy trying to market himself as some Red Army electro crusader against capitalism is pretty lol-worthy. cold war over dude.

I totally agree, however his indifference makes him ripe for a rinsing.

I’m glad someone sent a missile right back.
