If this remix doesn’t make you happy you’re either a real grumpy bastard or depressed – in which case you should probably go listen to the soul-crushing droning of Thom from Radiohead (or perhaps not such a good idea… who knows what you might do…). Anyway, the point is that Riva Starr’s been banging out remixes at such a ridiculous rate that quantity has somewhat surpassed quality of late (admittedly he’s been rather busy with his superb Snatch! imprint) – so it’ refreshing to see him back to his good-old fun, uplifting self. His latest freebie is an unashamedly cheesy offering of vocal-based house that rises and swirls, with plenty of filtered builds and clattering drops:
