A friend of mine, Stripes, has sent over one of his first productions: an energetic, punchy drum workout with a cut ‘n looped female vocal sample. The flurrying, lively staccato beats provide some real punch; the clattering percussion faintly reminiscent of the crashing beats of the older US house/garage sound, revised with a fizzing, rasping bassline. An infectious track boasting plenty of dancefloor clout:
