Greg Wilson doesn’t need to do much to this already floor-friendly 70’s disco hit other than extend it. Paul T. Anderson’s Boogie Nights reintroduced the modern masses to the Polydor disco hit in ’97; but, back way back in ’72, the BBC banned the song for being too risqué – the heavy breathing and deep moans supposedly too much for the British public to stomach. Stateside, it went straight to number one, selling over a million records.
That cheeky, conga-ridden groove still has some serious dancefloor prowess, perfect for kick-starting a party.
